How To Get Rid Of Oily Skin
Here I am sharing few tips which help you to keep your skin oil-free and keep dirt and germs at bay during summer:
1.Cleanse face at least thrice a day:
Washing the face with water is the first way to get rid of oily skin. You must make it a habit of washing your face with an oil-cleansing face wash at least 2-3 times a day. Wash your face in the morning, then during mid-day when you feel it becomes too oily. You must also cleanse your face before going to bed, to get rid of clogged and dirty pores. Make a habit of carrying a small face wash wherever you go, so that it becomes easy for you to wash your face anytime.
2. Use a lighter moisturizer:
The first and the foremost step to take as you step into summer is to switch to a light moisturizer. Contrary to winters, summers require a light moisturizer to keep your face healthy. You must not ditch it completely, as no matter what the season is, your face would still need its daily dose of moisture. You can easily get oil-free moisturizers according to your skin type. There are lots of moisturizers available in the market for oily skin.
3. Use oil soaking face masks:
There are several face masks available in the market which helps you get rid of extra oil on your skin. You can use Multani mitti or sandalwood face masks, twice a week, if you have oily skin. You can also use home-made papaya, water-melon, or tomato face mask. These masks will not only help you in keeping your face oil-free but will also help in cooling and calming down your face.
Drink plenty of water throughout the day. Try to drink at least 10-12 glass water in summer. Add fruits like watermelon, melon, oranges, and other seasonal fruits in your diet as it is a rich source of water and other vitamins. Eating fruit or drinking fruit juice keeps you hydrated and boost energy level and also keeps your skin glowing.
5. Carry Tissue Paper When Go Out:
Sometimes when we travel or go out we don’t have water to wash our face. So always keep tissue paper in your bag, so when you feel oily face just can clean your face.
Trying these tips may result in oil-free and glowing skin. Changing climatic conditions and temperature may affect our skin, so we must take care of our skin for better looks. With climate change, we need to change our daily care products and our routine as well.
